Privacy Policy

humade respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and what we do not do. Plain language, no legal tricks.

What we collect

When you join humade, we collect: your name, email address, creative disciplines, location (city, province/state, country), a short bio, and an optional website URL. When you attest a work, we store the work title, description, medium, a file you upload, and a verification hash. We also store vouches you give or receive, and any flags submitted about works.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data to anyone.
  • We do not serve advertising.
  • We do not use third-party tracking or analytics scripts.
  • We do not share your email address with anyone outside the humade team.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. It is httpOnly and secure. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any other type of cookie.

Email

Your email address is used for account verification, notifications about your works (such as flags or moderation decisions), and vouch notifications. We do not send marketing emails or newsletters.

Public data

Your creator profile (name, disciplines, location, bio, website, trust tier, and attested works) is public by design. This is core to how humade works: the directory and verification system depend on public profiles. Your email address is never shown publicly.

Data storage

All data is stored securely on Replit infrastructure. Files you upload for attestation are stored in object storage and linked to your account.

Your rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. We will remove your profile, works, vouches, and flags from the system. Verification permalinks for deleted works will return a "not found" response.

Jurisdiction

humade operates under the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes regarding privacy will be resolved under BC law.
